1. Services Provided
Spotless Cleaning Solution and Service LTD (“the Company”) agrees to provide professional carpet cleaning services as specified in the booking confirmation. We will perform these services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. www.which.co.uk
2. Customer Obligations
- Access: You must provide clear access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to provide access may result in a lock-out fee.
- Utilities: You must provide adequate power and running water for the duration of the service.
- Furniture: Please remove small items and breakables. We are happy to move light furniture, but we cannot move heavy or fragile items (e.g., antiques, electronics) due to health and safety regulations. Carpet Cleaning LTD
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Due: Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required immediately upon completion of the service.
- Late Payments: Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices. As of January 2026, the statutory interest rate for business-to-business transactions is 8% plus the Bank of England base rate.
- Administrative Fees: A late payment administrative fee may be applied to accounts referred for collection. Small Business Commissioner
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a fee (e.g., 20% to 40% of the total quote) to cover lost time and administrative costs.
- No-Show/Lock-out: If our technicians arrive and cannot gain entry, the full service fee or a minimum call-out charge of £40–£60 will be applied. Carpet Cleaning LTD
5. Liability and Limitations
- Pre-existing Damage: We are not liable for pre-existing damage, such as permanent stains, wear and tear, or poorly fitted carpets.
- Drying Times: Estimated drying times are approximate. We are not liable for damage caused by walking on wet carpets or replacing furniture before they are fully dry.
- Insurance: We maintain full Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind. Carpet Cleaning LTD
6. Complaints and Claims
Any issues or dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours of the service completion. This allows us to inspect the work and perform a “re-clean” of any disputed areas if necessary.
